In 1925, Pope Pius XI created the
first Feast Day of Christ the King.
On its centenary (23rd November 2025), Derry is launching the second Worldwide Eucharistic Procession for the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Prince of Peace - a call for all CHRISTENDOM - clergy and laity - in faith, hope and love - to spread the flame of love from heart to heart.
A Call for ALL of IRELAND
( and the whole world )
This is a call for all of Ireland to attend the Eucharistic Procession in Derry - that as part of the fighting Irish and Guardians of Faith, we would never be defeated in our faith - now or for future generations.
Fruits from the FIRST Worldwide Eucharistic Procession
On Saint Brigid's Day in February 2025, Derry with 5,000 devotees, along with 70 parishes worldwide - in unity, hosted the first global Eucharistic Procession - across six continents - the first of its kind.
To join worldwide in the second Eucharistic Procession, please ask the clergy or religious of your local parish, monastery or convent to visit this website and consider:
- Setting up their own Eucharistic Procession to celebrate the Centenary of the Feast of Christ the King.
- Hosting Eucharistic Adoration within their own Church.
- Showing an Eucharistic Procession (ours or a local, national Procession) on a television or projector in the Church or Parish Hall.
- Letting us know their choice by filling in our form in our Contact page.
We are anticipating up to 15,000 people to attend the Christ The King Eucharistic Procession here in Derry City, Northern Ireland – with over 5,000 attending the celebration in Ebrington Square after the blessing of the River Foyle by Bishop Donal McKeown. We are asking for donations to help us fund the hosting of this Centenary Celebration of Christ the King.
Please donate by clicking the GoFundMe buttons - above the previous paragraph or underneath the list below (opens in a new tab/window). Thank You.
Below are some of the costs outlined:
- Staging in Ebrington Square.

- Promotional videos - with one video translated into 9 different languages.
- To pay for the person to upload and translate the aforementioned videos etc.
- Posters and flyers to advertise the Procession.
- The hiring of security stewards for the Procession.
- 40,000 medals with necklaces - half handed out already. We want to buy another 50,000 for more schoolchildren and staff.

- We also aim to purchase 15,000 Rosary beads for the children.

Then expand to all of Ireland ...
God willing.
Thank You.
